like cold lemonade,
and both got stomachaches,
sprawled out in the shade.
So bored to death you held your breath,
as I tried not to yawn.
You made my frown turn upside down,
and now my worries are gone. lll
lll Spring is here again. It is so beautiful outside. I experienced 4 beautiful things:
1) On my bus ride home from school a few days ago, I saw a little Mennonite girl in a bright yellow dress. She was standing in a large cornfield, flying a kite (the diamond-shaped kind with four colors that you see in a picture book.)
2) A rather heavy rainstorm. I love those storms in which the sky is still very light, but the rain comes down hard.
3) During the rainstorm, I heard a solitary bird singing. That was the most beautiful moment. It practically made me melt with pleasure.
4) A ravishing song, called Emily. I forget who it's by, but it's simply beautiful... it varies so much in music. No chorus, no verses. Just music. lll
